The
age-old art of fishing has come a long way since my old man
stalked salmon on split cane rods in Ireland, however modern
day angling is no less exciting, challenging or rewarding.
The beauty of this wonderful past time is that any one can do
it at almost any age at any time of the year.As any person who enjoys angling will know, whether for a little
time alone on a quiet stretch of river while looking for wild
river trout or yellowish, lure-fishing in a reservoir for explosive
bass with our younger generation of anglers, for the splendor
of areas such as the mighty Zambezi River while hunting the
renowned tiger fish or vundu, or the excitement of hunting Kingfish,
baracuta, sail fish or other powerful Indian Ocean species,
we all need a little time out - what better way to spend it
than with family or friends?
We have a number of specialist anglers
to take you to favored haunts in pursuit of some magical fishing
experiences, and have selected some awesome spots to pursue
your favorite past time, either with a professional guide, on
your own with family of friends.
Duncan
Menzies is our fanatical fly-fisher of tiger fish on the
Zambezi, barbell in the Okavango Delta, Florida bass or the
very tasty nembwe in Zimbabwe just north of the South African
border or more importantly saltwater fly-fishing off the East
coast of South Africa or Mozambique – best for the more serious
fisher folk.
Nick Barns - “the piscator” – is best known for his abilities
and knowledge of wild yellow fishing on the upper reaches of
the Vaal River, trout fishing in the Natal Midlands, (Where
he grew up and conducted guided experiences for a living), and
saltwater fly-fishing for game fish on the northern coastal
areas of Zululand and white beaches of Mozambique.
