The Jock Safari Lodge is aptly
named after the famous “Jock of the bushveld”, a tale of
Jock and his master, told by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick. Jock
Camp is set in heart of the southern area of the Kruger
National Park at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti
Rivers. A place, which formed part of the transport riders
route between the then Delagoa Bay and main town of the era.
Jock Lodge offers beautiful views, with the swimming pool
literally overlooking the confluence of these two scenic and
abundant rivers. It is situated halfway between Malelane
Gate & Skukuza Camp in the world renowned Kruger National
Park, approximately 458km (284.6 miles) from Johannesburg.

Accommodation at Jock Safari Lodge
The 12 Luxury air-conditioned suites offer
guests the unique opportunity to experience gracious style
and old world elegance, surrounded by unspoilt wilderness.
Each suite is shaded under the riverine trees along the
Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers, offering luxury, style and
romance inspired by the local indigenous Swazi and Shangaan
cultures.
Each suite has a private “Sala” with river views. Romantic
bathrooms and outdoor showers share the same views and
regular sightings of undisturbed and unencumbered game, from
the comfort & privacy of your own room. The suites have King
size beds surrounded by walk-in mosquito netting, a small
lounge and bathrooms with luxurious double amenities. Your
private terrace has its own plunge pool and the main lodge
and suites are linked by wooden walkways.p

Jock offers typical
African cuisine inspired by the abundant fresh produce
accumulated locally - on the routes of old, routes
followed by sir Percy Fitzpatrick and the legendary
Jock. The chef and his dedicated team conjure up dishes
inspired by this unique location. The cuisine is
presented in a variety of locations, including the
elegant dining room, a private dinner in your own suite,
or enjoy evenings in a traditional boma, around the fire
with friends.
Game drives in open land rovers, with a professional
game ranger, offers the thrill of close encounters with
Africa’s wildlife. Join guided Walking safaris or
Birding safaris and interpret the signs, sounds and
scents of the wild in this unspoilt sanctuary. Guided
Historical trips take you along the paths of legends,
such as Jock, and may unravel some hidden mysteries of a
bygone era. Marvel at the rock art of past cultures and
gaze at the mystery of creation in the stars.
