Other Information

Situated in one of Africa's most dramatic landscapes in the Kruger National Park, Singita Lebombo Lodge is set against a country that is abundant in wildlife, water and colors that shift with the changing seasons.

Singita Lebombo Lodge is situated in the Nwanetsi Concession Area in the Kruger National Park. The lodge is located in a remote wilderness with the largest concentration of game in the Kruger National Park.
Walkways snake their way along a ridge dotted with surreal euphorbia that praise the sky, to lofts clasped like eagles' nests to the mountainside. Sparsely adorned spaces created of wall-to-wall glass; the suites are places of interaction with a wilderness that echoes to the soul.

Accommodation at Singita Lebombo Lodge

The interior design of Singita Lebombo mixes cutting-edge contemporary styles with wide-open spaces and enormous blue African Skies. Here, nature’s elements are intricately woven into the overall design to enhance the drama of the wild surroundings. Constructed of glass, slatted wood and bleached branches, Lebombo has been called an architectural master- piece. It’s no wonder that tattler magazine UK called this unique lodges “A cause for global celebration”

The suites are set on a clifftop overlooking the river, and the main lodge is located to take full advantage of the sweeping views of the Lebombo mountains and surrounding bush. There are two lodges, one comprising 15 units and the other with 6 units. The full-suite rooms can be described as elevated lofts, constructed primarily with glass and wood featuring exceptional views.

The Village Spa offers a range of massages, skin care and spa body treatments, all performed by highly qualified therapists. We have a fully equipped gym, a steam room for inhalation therapy and a relaxation area where you can rest between treatments and after exercising. The spa is a place of rejuvenation, where the body is pampered and the soul restored.

The open-air lounge area combines the use of grass, wood and steel with glories views of never-ending green while the long turquoise shape of the swimming pool is an extension of the nearby Nwanetsi River. The lodge is renowned for having minimal impact on the environment, closely following the philosophy of ‘touching the earth lightly’.

Attractions and Activities at Singita Lebombo Lodge

The Lebombo Concession adds an exciting new dimension to the Singita wildlife experience. Located in the Kruger National Park's southeast, on the border with Mozambique, Lebombo represents one of the few remaining unexplored territories of this celebrated wildlife sanctuary. The Lebombo mountain range runs diagonally across the expanse, interlaced by the N'wanetsi and Sweni Rivers. The rangers testify that the area holds the highest densities of game they've seen anywhere, including a wealth of Big 5, abundant antelope and birdlife, and an incredible diversity of smaller animals.

The Lebombo concession encompasses some of the most scenic, diverse and remote wilderness in the Kruger National Park. The area is densely populated with a wealth of plant and animal species and boasts the Big Five as well. The area is home to a unique pride of 26 lions known as the mountain Pride. Lebombo is one of the most pristine wilderness regions to be found in South Africa.
