The Granny Mouse Country House,

the heart of the KwaZulu Natal Midlands. This Midlands Gem

The Granny Mouse Deluxe Cottages have a private balcony
overlooking the beautiful view of the surrounding hills and
Lions River as well as a fireplace. They have Victorian
style en suite bathrooms with heaters, a television,
telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Almost all
of the Garden Cottages have fireplaces and private verandahs. All overlook the garden and swimming pool. Each
cottage has Victorian style en-suite bathrooms with heaters,

facilities.
The executive suites are situated in two private wings, one
overlooking the Lion's River, and the other with peaceful
views of the gardens and pool. Each room is individually
decorated with feather duvets and plush fabrics. The suites
facing the gardens and pool have air-conditioning &
heating, while the river view suites have fireplaces. All
feature private balconies. The Caversham Suite has a lovely
king-size bed with a coronette and is plushly decorated with
a Chez lounge and Ottoman in front of the fireplace. This
room has a lovely river view and comes with a television and
stocked room bar. The Honeymoon Suite is a very spacious and
romantically decorated suite which comes complete with a
four poster antique bed and canopy with a feather duvet and
own sound system, has a stunning river view, which can be
appreciated from the deck with a glass of wine from the room
bar.

House, is positioned on the Lions River and surrounded
by indigenous bush, resulting in an abundance of
wildlife, in particular an extensive birding list with
over 200 species. On site recreation now includes the
professional services of highly qualified therapists at
the newly completed Spa and Wellness Center. Why not
spend the morning Trout Fishing on the stretch of
pristine water, and indulge yourself at the Spa in the
afternoon. With a newly opened Spa and Wellness Center,
this retreat must now have some of the most indulgent
packages in the area. The spa offers a full range of
massage and skin treatments, as well as a state of the
art steam room, Jacuzzi and hydrotherapies.
The Hotel serves breakfasts and light lunches daily,
with gourmet lunches and dinners renowned in the
Caversham Valley. Views of the Lions River are taken in
while enjoying one of the superb wines from the hotel's
underground Wine Cellar.
