Marataba is conveniently located just 3 hours drive or an easy 1-hour flight from Johannesburg, excellent for a business, leisure or romantic experience. The Marakele Parks Ltd reserve is open to and part of the Marakele national Park, which is home to an abundance of unexplored bush, excellent game viewing and a myriad of stunning bird life in the lush green of summer. All in an unfenced Biosphere reserve encompassing over 70 000 hectares of Waterberg wilderness and game sanctuary.
You may even be lucky enough to see wild dog, black rhino, cheetah, leopard, brown hyena or any of the other interesting mammals, reptile and bird species found here, not to mention the remaining members of the big 5.
