Mutemwa
Lodge is situated on the western bank of the great
Zambezi River. Mutemwa Lodge caters for 12 guests in
luxurious tented accommodation. Staff of 22 meets your
every need.

Each
Mutemwa Lodge tent is on top a teak deck with patio,
ensuring a stunning, completely private view of the
Zambezi. Each guest suite has a full bathroom, and
sleeps two in either single or luxury queen-size beds.
Mutemwa Lodge Meals are substantial and home
cooked - with freshly caught local fish and game being
popular choices. Dinner is "al fresco" around the
campfire in the boma. Enjoy a lazy champagne breakfast
on the beach. Lunch is often served on the lower deck
overlooking the Zambezi, in the shade of the riverine
forest. The central area of the thatched lodge consists
of a fully stocked bar, indoor dining room and curio
shop.

Mutemwa
Lodge Activities include Angling, birding, guided walks,
guided canoeing safaris, river cruises, champagne
breakfasts on white sandy islands, and cultural
experiences.
Mutemwa Lodge is ideally situated
for an excellent, all-round birding experience. Birders
can expect a list of between 150 and 200 species during
a four-day stay at the lodge. A large percentage of
these species will be specials. This is made possible by
the wide variety of habitats that surround the lodge.
